I am a public speaker accepting motivational speaking engagements about time management, goal setting, your idea life, incest, domestic violence, self esteem, and customer service and sales. I have experience speaking and doing training.
I am the mother of 5 children from 6 years old to 26 years old. The younger four are still at home with me and my oldest son is in Ohio, close to our hometown of Springfield.
Studying full time at Raritan Valley Community College in 2007 – 2008 had enabled me to expand my knowledge and strengthen my skills in public relations, business computer systems, speech, event planning, communications, business law, web development, interactive multimedia, marketing, and video production.
I worked in many areas including as a sales associate and manager, and customer service representative. My volunteer work has included being a Girl Scout leader for 11 years, Church Lay Speaker, and photographer for the drama department at my daughter’s high school, and other projects. I am the past President for the Hunterdon County Foster Adoptive Families for 2001 to 2004, and also served as the Fundraising Coordinator for the Central Region Fostering Wishes Program from 2002 to 2006.
In 2008 I was selected to participate in and completed a New Leadership program run by the American Women and Politics at the Eagleton Institute for Politics at Rutgers University. In 2006 I was the New Jersey Foster and Adoptive Family Services Outstanding Member. I was a Pru Cares Community Award Winner in 2005 for my work with foster children in 2004. I was honored to be selected as 2nd place winner for the 2003 New Jersey Association of Realtors Good Neighbor Award for my work with the Hunterdon County Foster and Adoptive Families and Central Region Fostering Wishes program. In 2004 the National Association of Realtors Good Neighbor Award Honorable Mention was also awarded to me.
My vision is to help women move forward and develop into their best self. I have been fortunate to be on the journey to my best self with a lot of help and supportive loving people. Sometimes a helping hand is all it takes, and other times, learning more can help women move forward and into what they were meant to be.
