As a professional lecturer, and instructor of interior design Since 1990, I have observed an overwhelming public demand for interior design knowledge which has sparked a high demand for what was once considered a highly exclusive service. ,No longer is middle America standing on the outside looking in on what was once thought to be a service for the well to do.

Despite the fluctuation of the housing market the demand remains consistent for interior decorating know how.  This is indicative of the prolific amount of decorating  shows offered by the cable TV networks.  Yet, despite the amount of eye candy, and design show programing consumers  remain unable to successfully achieve their personal decorating goals.

The Public forced to deal with life style changes due to  political, and socioeconomic reasons,  demand  that the home provide more than just shelter. The home must coincide with the consumer s life goals, and meet their needs for asthetics, nurturing, and regeneration.

My objective is to meet this need, and provide interior decorating information not just as entertainment but valuable training information applicable to the individual home owner.
It is my goal to meet this need by presenting the American home as the new topic of study. The homeowner will become a student of their own individual domain. No longer will the questions of  how do I meet my specific decorating needs?  go unanswered.  Our motto at the "Work The Room!" is  not by the magic of TV, but from the magic within you .
