Catherine Constantin-Reid began Vision Matters for the Home in 2008, following three decades working with young children, parents and teachers as a Montessori educator. She founded, directed and taught at Grace Montessori School in Allentown, which, starting as a service for children of food bank clients, grew to the multi-cultural school of over 125 students it is today. She was also instrumental in establishing and directing a Montessori teacher training program in which she discovered the power of inspiration in guiding adult learners.

Building upon the Montessori principles that effective learning and living take place in an ordered environment with established routines and understanding the power of inspiration, Vision Matters for the Home goes beyond standard personal organizational approaches, focusing upon changing the attitudes and habits of the person as she lives and works in her environment. The goals are for the client to envision, and then create, routines and surroundings that work for her and which she can maintain. This is a process of education and encouragement, learning and adopting new skills in personal organization, time management and effective interaction with others in order to achieve envisioned goals. The positive impacts upon family life, school achievement, and personal satisfaction are transformative.
