To be
or not to be, that is the question… Or is it? If we
think about it, we are always in a state of being. The question
then is, “HOW am I being?” In each moment we
get to choose how we are being. Sometimes we may feel that
we have no choice in a situation. Sometimes we feel that
we must do something or spend time with people because of
our job or our family. The fact is that we always DO have
a choice. The first choice that is always available to us
is our response to someone or something that has happened
to us; the second choice we have is our thoughts. We are
in a continuous state of choosing WHAT we think about. We
also get to choose how we FEEL about it. Next time you are
feeling you have no choice, remember this.. You may choose
a positive response. You may choose high thoughts. You may
choose empowering feelings. You get to choose how to BE.
