7th, Friday - Essex County Court Appointed
Special Advocates (CASA) is holding its 20th Anniversary
Gala "One Night for a Child's Lifetime" at
Mayfair Farms, West Orange, NJ. Essex County CASA is
an independent, court-authorized, nonprofit organization
which works through professionally trained and supervised
volunteers to promote the welfare of foster children
in Essex County, New Jersey who have been removed from
their homes because of extreme parental abuse, neglect
or abandonment. CASA serves as a child's "Voice in Court",
working to insure that needed services and assistance
are provided while helping to move the child toward a
safe and permanent home. Tickets are available until
April 4 and can be purchased by calling 800-626-8097.
Individual tickets are $250 each. |
